Where Have I Been?

Hello and Welcome,

First of all, sorry I haven't posted in ages! I went back to school last week after the Easter Holidays and I haven't had any free time. My mock exams start tomorrow so I have been revising, revising, revising… even though it is so boring! Is anyone else doing revision/exams at the moment?

Anyway, I don't think I will post again until after my exams.  But I'm planning on doing My April Favourites soon and A Birthday Post, as it is my Birthday in 2 weeks yay! So look out for that!

I just want to say, thanks for reading my little blog! I love replying to your comments and checking out your blogs too :)

Easter Spring Look-Collab With Chloe Lancaster

Hello and Welcome,

First of all, sorry for the lack of posts recently! I was on holiday in the Isle of Wight from Friday to Monday (it was a lovely holiday, thank you!), and then the rest of the week was busier than I thought with revision and seeing my friends. But I'm back with an exciting post!

So today I am doing a collab with Chloe from
Easter Spring hair, makeup and outfit

I love Chloe's blog and we have similar tastes and interests, so we are both doing an Easter Spring Look blog post. I hope you enjoy this, it was really fun to do! So lets get started…

As this is an Easter Spring look, I wanted it to be light and sunny! I also used light pastel shades as pastels are big this season. It is perfect for going out with friends or for the Easter Holidays! So I used a light BB cream base, a bit of bronzer, a pastel pink eyeshadow with a hint of blue and pastel blue nails. If you would like a tutorial on this look just comment down below!

 Products used (in order):
MUA Primer
Rimmel 9in1 BB Cream
Miss Sporty Liquid Concealer
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
MUA Undress Me Too Palette
Pink Eyeshadow (unknown)
Miss Sporty Fabulous Colour Palette (blue eyeshadow)
Collection 2000 eyeliner in gold/nude
MUA Extreme Felt Eyeliner
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara
Miss Sporty Pump Up Booster Mascara
Miss Sporty Fabulous Colour Palette (pink blusher)
Seventeen Instant Glow Bronzed Blotting Papers
MUA Nude Lipstick
Clarins Sheer Shimmer Nail Polish in Lilac Shimmer (looks blue on!)
Topshop Nail Polish in Mermaid

I love this look for Easter time because it looks bright and Spring-like! The pastel pink eyeshadow is very pretty and girly, and the hint of pastel blue eyeshadow really brightens my eyes. The bronzed cheeks are perfect for Spring and Summer and makes you look sunny and tanned! The winged eyeliner is a favourite of mine, and I'm getting better at it! The nude lip is also a favourite, and it looks great with the eyeshadow. This look is quite natural, so goes with most outfits.

I wanted to create loose waves for this Easter look, but I washed my hair last night and it dried naturally, leaving my hair wavy! An easy way for waves is to let your hair dry naturally like this, or plait your hair while it is damp and leave it over night.

I then just tied my hair up with a piece of lace ribbon, this is easy but super cute!

I could't pick just one outfit for this post, so I chose three! I love all of these outfits for Spring, and they go with the makeup as it is quite natural.

Outfit 1
Playsuit-New Look
Jumper-New Look
Frilly Socks-Topshop
Buzby, my dog, posing for the picture!

Outfit 2
Denim Shorts-New Look
Crop Top-H&M (DIY)
Sunglasses-Accessorize (my sisters!)

Outfit 3
 Lace Dress-New Look
Denim Jacket-Primark (Car Boot Sale)
Sandals-Zara (one in Spain!)
Rings and Necklace-H&M

So that is it, my Easter Spring Look! Comment down below which outfit was your favourite, and if you would like a tutorial on this makeup look. Don't forget to check out Chloe's blog, her post will be up soon!

My Travel Makeup Bag

Hello and Welcome,

As it's the Easter holidays, on Friday I'm off to the Isle of Wight with my family! We are staying in a caravan and going out to the beach, on walks and out for dinner. I hope it is still sunny! What are you doing in the holidays?

Anyways, I thought I would share with you what I keep in my travel makeup bag. I just pack my basics, and not all my makeup. I also don't take many face care things, because I will just use soapy water to wash my face.

My makeup bag is a Celia Birtwell make up bag, which was part of a collection that Celia Birtwell designed for Boots. I got it as a birthday present and I love the design. I always take it on holiday because it can hold a lot, and is a good size!

It zips open, and inside are two zipped compartments. It also has pockets for your brushes.

I keep my makeup brushes and toothbrush in the pockets at the front. My makeup brushes came with this makeup bag, and they are really good. Although I'm looking for some new ones, any suggestions?

In the first zipped compartment, I keep my face make up.

Miss Sporty Fabulous Colour Palette (I use the blusher from this palette)
Seventeen Instant Glow Bronzed Blotting Papers (can't find a link, sorry!)

The BB Cream gives me a light, moisturised base, as I don't want to wear heavy makeup on holiday! Then my blusher and bronzer are very summery and sparkly, and add a little extra to my makeup.

In the second zipped compartment, I keep my powder and basic eye makeup and lip products.

Prestige Sunkiss Lip Tint (can't find link, sorry!)

I can't go anywhere without this powder, It is very loved and keeps my makeup matte! I also bring my mascara and eyeliner, just for an everyday look. The Sunkiss Lip Tint is very small and perfect for travelling, and is also a lovely golden, nude colour. I like this lipgloss because it doesn't dry out my lips and is a gorgeous colour! Lastly, my concealer. I love the light coverage.

So that's everything! These are mainly my basic makeup products, but I still like to wear some makeup on holiday as we go out a lot! I hope you liked this post, comment below if you would like a review on any of the products mentioned.

What products can't you live without on holiday?
Also, going anywhere nice on holiday?

See you soon

My March Favourites

Hello and Welcome,

Happy April everyone! This year has already going so fast! Easter is just around the corner… and so are my mock exams :/

Anyways, It's time for my March Favourites! I hope you like these type of posts, leave any blog post suggestions in the comments please lovelies. So let's get started…

Cropped Jumper//New Look
In March, I think I wore these three items the most! I have been in love with the collared jumper look, and also cropped jumpers. So these were perfect for me! I also have liked wearing dresses a lot more too, and the one was so cheap and so cute! You can see it in my OOTD post here.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001
Miss Sporty Liquid Concealer
MUA Matte Lipstick in Totally Nude
I recently did a First Impressions blog post on the Stay Matte Powder, and I have loved it so far! It really does help your makeup stay, and keeps my face matte. I can see the difference, and I love it! I've also started using the Miss Sporty Concealer more because I like the coverage, although it's a bit glittery. I've also used my nude lipstick, I love the natural look and it's a nice colour for spring!

Hair/Skin Care

For the past month I have loved using this Nivea moisturising day cream. It's really nice to put on in the morning to brighten me up and keep my skin looked after. I would recommend this if you are looking for an everyday moisturiser!

Sweater Weather//The Neighbourhood
My friend introduced me to this song, and I love it! The lyrics are great, and I'm getting into The Neighbourhood's music. You can listen to it here.

Recently, I have loved going on the Topshop and ASOS apps! I love looking at clothes on the go, but I haven't actually bought anything yet! It's just so addictive :)

So I hope you like my March Favourites!

I hope you have a good Easter, what are you up to in the Easter Holidays?

Spring Scents

Hello and Welcome,

How is everyone? Hope your all doing well! :)

As the weather is getting better again where I live, I thought I would do a sunny, Spring related post! Everyone needs a lovely scent for Spring/Summer, and these are the two I will be using the most!

Hollister California SOLANA BEACH Body Mist

I received this Hollister body spray as a gift a while ago, and it has lasted forever but still smells fresh! I know the Hollister body sprays are still really popular. This one has a clean, floral smell with raspberry, jasmine and white musk. It is such a pretty scent. I use this nearly everyday, and I think it is perfect for summer. However, it can be quite strong or overpowering, so I only use one or two sprays.

The Body Shop CHYMARA Eau De Toilette (Perfume)

This was also a gift that has lasted me a long time! I have nearly run out! I don't think The Body Shop still sells it but I had to include this product, I will leave a link below to the website.

Anyway, I love all types of perfume but this is one of my favourites. It has a musky, floral scent that is perfect for a summer's day. This is also quite heavy and strong for me, so I just spray once or twice. The Body Shop sells some lovely Spring scents!

So these are my Spring scents! I hope you liked this little post, please comment below what you thought!

What are your favourite scents this time of year?
